Vinyl Mastering
It's a separate master to the digital version. Same pricing structure applies as with digital masters. We offer a discounted rate of £35 per song for vinyl masters for everyone who has used our mix & master service.
What is Mastering?
Mastering is the final step of music audio post-production. The purpose of mastering is to balance sonic elements of a stereo mix and optimize playback across all systems and media formats. At the mastering stage, the engineer will work with only one file called a pre-master, whereas mixing involves having access to individual tracks in the project. Traditionally, mastering is done using tools like equalization, compression, saturation, limiting and stereo enhancement.
How to Prepare The Pre-Master?
Please refer to our FAQ or contact us directly.
Additional Edits
Additional edits (i.e. club edit, radio edit) of the same track will be charged £10/edit. Instrumental versions (full track minus all vocals) are FREE of charge.

Radio Edits
Radio Edits are usually 3:00-3:30 long and are typically created by shortening the intro and outro of the EXTENDED edit on our end, which costs an additional £10. It's advisable that you suggest timestamps for the cuts.
Another option is to provide a separate set of stems for the Radio Edit. However, this is generally not recommended and will increase the cost significantly (usually around £30-£60 depending on the project size). That's because moving dozens of automations to a new arrangement is very time-intensive.
Instead, we recommend the following approach:
1. We mix and master the extended version
2. We export the stems back to you, you cut the radio version out of them
3. You send the radio version stems back to us
4. We process the stems through the mastering chain and deliver the final mastered radio version
This method costs just £25. As a bonus you also get to keep mixed stems for future remixes etc.
If you have already prepared a separate set of stems for the radio edit, please get in touch and we will find an optimal solution :)

What is Mixing?
Mixing is setting the right level/frequencies balance between the tracks in a music project. This involves audio processing techniques such as EQ, compression, reverb, saturation, panning, multi-band compression, transient shaping, level adjustment, phase corrections, and limiting. Vocal tuning is not included by default but can be requested for an additional fee.
Terms & Conditions
Mixing doesn't involve creation of new sounds, adding delays or big reverbs that would creatively alter the track or influence transitions between sections. It also doesn't involve arrangement changes, audio editing or removing audio material etc. If you require these, please send us an email regarding additional production. We do allow however 1 revision free of charge that involves audio editing and 1 stem replacement / resubmission if needed. Any additional revisions of that nature will be charged extra (starting from £5 depending on complexity of the task), since they are not part of the mixing/mastering process. Please make sure you are happy with the arrangement before submitting the project for mixing :-)
How to Prepare Stems?
Please refer to our FAQ > 'Mixdowns: How To Prepare and Send Stems', or contact us directly and we will walk you quickly through the process.

Mix Analysis The service is designed for educational purposes for people who want to learn more about mixing, or need assurance or highlighting problems in the current mix. Once you’ve submitted the track, we will analyse it and send you back a report in the form of an explanatory video (10-20min long) with screenshare recording of the project, showing our suggestions for settings of EQ, compression etc.
We will point out problematic areas and suggest solutions in the areas of: EQ, panning, saturation, compression and limiting, levelling, reverb, transients, and phase issues. You can either send us one master file (full song bounce) or split the song into 10 groups (kick & bass separated preferably) with all processing and automations turned ON. Having access to single tracks will give us more insight to the mix problems, so it's recommended. We cannot guarantee our feedback will fix your mix FULLY as this highly depends on your own skills, your room's acoustics and implementation of the given pointers, but it surely is a useful tool if you want improve on the actual mixing process. Cost of the service = £45 |
Kick & Bass / Sub Adjustment OnlyStruggling to get the bass tight? We will adjust the Kick/Bass combo so it sounds clear, balanced, punchy, and sharp as a razor in the club environment.
This involves EQ-ing, compression, limiting, volume adjustments, analog saturation, and additional layering (depending on what's needed) or even replacement of the kick sample, if we think it's necessary. This service is included in all Mixdown + Mastering packages. Cost of the service = £45 |
DJ Set Mastering & CorrectionsYou send us a recorded DJ set and we work our magic: balance the volume between songs, EQ corrections and do final mastering on the whole set to the industry standard volume.
1 hour set = £65 2 hour set = £110 3 hour set = £170 |
Stem Analog Tape ProcessingWe are lucky owners of vintage reel-to-reel analogue tape recorder machine Studer Revox A77 from 1973. If you would like to add some analogue warmth to your stems - this is the service for you.
1 stem = £25 2 stems = £40 3 stems = £60 4-10 stems = £15/stem For more stems, ask us for a quote. |
Track Production Feedback
This service is perfect for everyone who is unsure about the creative aspects of the song production, that are not part of the mixing and mastering process.
You would send us a track for a check on issues such as:
- Sound Design (sounds that don’t fit, clash etc.)
- Arrangement (transitions between sections, etc.)
- Composition (sounds out of key, tuning issues etc.)
- Production errors and mistakes
After submitting the song, you will receive detailed feedback via email (you can ask for further explanation if something seems unclear in the received feedback, free of charge). Two feedback emails involve you resubmitting the song for another check after you've introduced changes. The second feedback email can be purchased after you've used the first one.
