The Engineer
Hey there! My name is Paul Jalowiecki aka Vintage Division. I am a platinum certified mixing/mastering engineer and founder of Chrome Mastering in Manchester. In 2015 I graduated from Salford University in Manchester with 1st class Honours BA Hons Creative Music Technology, which was shortly followed by the launch of Chrome Mastering studio.
My main focus is House, Techno, and Electronic Dance Music, as I deeply believe you achieve the best results only if you work with the music you love and clients you believe in. No size fits all is my motto. My work has received countless support from radio stations such as BBC (over 15 premieres and plays last year alone), Rinse FM, Ministry Of Sound, Proton Radio, Mixmag reviews (Hamza Rahimtula, MYKROBOY), and numerous support from DJs like Danny Howard (BBC1), Carl Cox, Mark Knight, Tiesto, Low Steppa, Kerri Chandler, Mark Farina, Skrillex, Martin Ikin, Tensnake, Richy Ahmed, Kry Wolf, Jey Kurmis, Golf Clap, and more. |

I have mixed and mastered over 3000 tracks at Chrome Mastering up to date including a platinum record Kamelen - Klubbkamel. My work has been released on some top underground and major House and Techno labels like Toolroom, Diynamic, Defected, Intec Digital (Carl Cox), Nervous Records, Funk'N Deep, Madtech (Kerri Chandler), Orange Recordings (Steve Mulder), Stil Vor Talent, Witty Tunes, Midnight Riot, Simma Black (Low Steppa), Lapsus Music, Beatfreak, and Safe Music, as well as major labels like Sony and Universal Music, just to mention a few.
Having a 7 years background in producing and being a passionate music collector have improved my mastering & mixing skills. As a producer under the names of Vintage Division and Phonokinetics, I've released on record labels such as Nervous Records, a label which received a Grammy nomination in 2021, White Widow, Nastyfunk, Witty Tunes, Nupanda, Hustler Trax, Lemongrassmusic, and Deepology. Phonokinetics releases have been licensed to over 42 compilations worldwide, and received 3 publishing deals via White Mantis publishing in Germany. Some other projects include a collaboration as audio director with the legendary video game designer and creator of Goldeneye 007 Nintendo game - Martin Hollis.
Working with record labels on a daily basis have also taught me what a good music demo should sound like. That's why we offer free advise on where to sign your music, after you have used the service.
